General information about I COMMIT
I COMMIT 16 Youth Leadership Development Program is implemented by University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) with funding from the Irish Aid. Established in 2013 by CSDS and EyeopenerWorks (EOW), the program aims to train and develop young people to make positive impacts on society. To date, I Commit has gone through 15 seasons with the birth of 42 social projects groups initiated and run by the youth.
The program creates a space for ideas of changing the community to come true through training providing knowledge, skills, and attitudes. I Commit aims to improve leadership, ability to act, commit, and inspire among young people when facing social problems.

?Open application: June 1 to June 30, 2021 (18:00)
?Interview and send the results of the application round: July 1 – July 6, 2021 (The interviewing process may take place earlier than the above time)
?Foundation training: 9, 10, 11/07/2021
?Tentative training location: Hanoi suburbs
?NUMBER: 15 participants

PARTICIPANTS/ CRITERIA
☑️Students study at Universities under Hanoi National University and Foreign Language Specialized School.
☑️Committing to a community project: You will come up with ideas for the project you want to do and implement those ideas into social projects.
☑️Each person commits to spend at least 08 hours/week on their project.
☑️Having a passion for community development and a desire to become a contributor to social change.
☑️Experience is not considered the program requirement. Passion and desire to contribute will be the most important criteria.
☑️Committing to fully participate in all major milestones and accompanying other members during the 4 months the program takes place.

NOTE
⚠️ The organizers will send the results of the application round and contact the candidates for an interview at the latest within 02 to 04 days (excluding weekends) from the deadline for submitting the application via Skype.
⚠️ The program prioritizes candidates who apply early and will close the application before the application deadline if we receive enough applicants.
