YOUTH EXPIDITION PROJECT GOES ONLINE (YEP-GO) IS CALLING FOR PARTICIPANTS!
YOUTH EXPIDITION PROJECT GOES ONLINE (YEP-GO) is an initiative and joint effort between Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore and Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS). YEP-GO provides a virtual platform for open sharing and discussions among young people from two countries during the height of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The key values of the project include:
- EXCHANGE: sharing and learning about cultural, geographical, historical signatures of each country.
- CONNECT: understand and appreciate the diversity locally and globally, exchange of learning and experiences and develop solidarity.
- EMPOWER: equip young people with presentation skills, English skills, and public speaking skills as well as personal leadership skills.
Tentative information about the program are as below:
1. DATES: From 1st March to 12 March: Specific dates will be updated in the second announcement on 15th Jan. There will be 8 sessions, each for 2,5 hour.
2. TIME: In the afternoon, from 1.00-6.00pm. Exact time will be updated in the second announcement on 15th Jan.
3. ONLINE PLATFORM AND LANGUAGE: The event will be organized in English (no translation provided), and via ZOOM.
4. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:
From 15-20 young Vietnamese 5. REQUIREMENT OF PARTICIPANTS – From 18 – 21 years old – Possess good communicational English – Be interested in sharing and learning from international friends – Commit to join ALL 8 sessions. – Have stable internet connection and a smartphone or a computer 6.
