The evaluation criteria are agreed upon by the jury panel, and shortly after each group’s reviewing performance, the judges will discuss together to give the most objective and accurate assessment and score that group afterward. Lan Anh (Action to the Community Development Institute – ACDC) shared, “The groups participating in this year’s reviewing round are really excellent. I don’t know what kind of team I will have to decide to exclude because each team is really great and has a lot of impact on the community. The groups have shared about the project to many problems of today’s society and the solutions of the groups are diverse, creative and totally fresh.”

The “Youth Drivers for Change” Awards 2021 recognizes a lot of creative and practical projects that directly solve problems of the society and of target groups in the community. A number of projects with activities and solutions to adapt to Covid-19 were highly appreciated by the judges in the reviewing round. “I find the initiatives very timely and they reflect the creative spirit of youth. Like the project POSEIDONS of Hanoi Medical University, they connect students from 15 medical universities across the country, focus on leadership skills, connect learning opportunities, and are ready for important changes to meet the technical needs of medical students while effectively adapting to the pandemic. Or VGEN shows young people search the core features of the Vietnamese people to find solutions to tough, modern problems, thus demonstrating the maturity of the current youth” – shared Ms. Nguyen Thu Hue (Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development – MCD).

After the Reviewing round, the judges will select 5 excellent candidates to participate in the final round and the awarding part will be held online and interested audiences will have the opportunity to listen and interact with the project joining the final round directly at CSDS‘s fanpage on September 25, 2021.
