General information about Young Innovator Seed Camp (YISC) program
Young Innovator Seed Camp (YISC), initiated by NYDO Vietnam, is an annual program since 2016 within the framework of the project to develop a network of young leaders in Central Vietnam – YIN. After 5 seasons of operation with certain successes. YISC has been a bridge for campers to journey to self-discovery and practice management skills of community projects in 4 days of intensive training. By that, you can create many breakthroughs in yourself, contribute to building community and society.
In 2021, CSDS is honored to sponsor 7 summer camps in 7 regions of YISC, especially CSDS together with sponsor IRISH AID co-organized and directly coordinated 2 out of 7 YISC21’s summer camps in Nghe An An and Gia Lai.
Young Innovator Seed Camp (YISC) Program 2021
Marking the 6th season, with CSDS active patronage, ???? debuted with the theme: Conductor – Connecting all, for a generation of creators. Through YISC21 program, CSDS as well as the organizers want to send you a summer full of experiences and fun when you will be the sounds and instruments with your own timbre and qualities. The trainers and guests at the summer camp will be the ones to spread the fire and impart skills to evoke the “leader” quality within you. CSDS believes that, with 4 days at the summer camp, you will have many memorable memories with brothers and sisters and friends from all over the world. After the process of exchanging, learning and implementing ideas for projects together, you will be able to properly promote the spirit of “young leadership”, becoming the “conductor” for your own symphony orchestra in your own community.

1️⃣ YISC Vinh Phuc (29/6 – 2/7).
2️⃣ YISC Thai Binh (3/7 – 6/7).
3️⃣ YISC Thanh Hoa (8/7 – 11/7) (co-hosted by YISC and ThanhHoa Youth Change Markers x Karuna Vietnam).
4️⃣ YISC Hue (16/7 – 19/7).
5️⃣ YISC Gia Lai (22/7 – 25/7) (co-hosted by CSDS).
6️⃣ YISC Can Tho (28/7 – 31/7)
7️⃣ YISC Nghe An (5/8 – 8/8) (co-hosted by CSDS).
Requirements for campers participating in YISC21
Young people aged 15-25 have leadership potentials, a desire to develop themselves and an interest in social activities, or simply want to have a memorable summer. If you are not under this age group but still want to participate, please prove you are suitable through the application. Opportunities are open to everyone.
Number of Participants: 30 – 35 campers for each camp

➖ Receiving a certificate of participation, certified by the Vietnam Youth Development Organization NYDO, YISC. For 2 camps in Gia Lai and Nghe An, you will have a certificate of participation from Center for Sustainable Development Studies CSDS.

❗ NOTE:
– We always prioritize candidates who register early.
– We welcome candidates from various regions. Application for campers nationwide.
– ONLY 1 RECRUITMENT ROUND AVAILABLE TO JOIN. We will only contact some candidates via email to discuss more if needed, from May 21 to June 4.
– The results will be notified by email from June 5 to June 6.
– It is expected that there will be an application period for regular campers from June 11 to June 14.
